Kathmandu in all its magnificence. From the top of the hill of the Swayambhunath, the Thousand Monkey Temple as my guide called it, is this simply magnificent view over the valley. I am sure you would agree, it is just stunning and in a way that totaly complements the beauty of the temples. I could see how one could contemplate life from this point, I certainly did.

Save our wonderful environment! Support the Wilderness Society. Write a letter to our minister Steve Bracks! Urge him to stop logging, to stop woodchipping old growth forests, to stop wasting water.
