A trip to Everest Base camp, it's, it's, an experience that changed me. In many ways it defies words. Every step, every experience, every sight, every sound, every person you meet, every day that you taking in this beautiful, cruel, rugged, tough, enchanting place.
Kathmandu in all its magnificence. From the top of the hill of the Swayambhunath, the Thousand Monkey Temple as my guide called it, is this simply magnificent view over the valley. I am sure you would agree, it is just stunning and in a way that totaly complements the beauty of the temples.
I could see how one could contemplate life from this point, I certainly did.

The sound of nature as it's fat raindrops splash down on a path. The sound of the ocean lapping against the sandy shore. The sounds of birds in evening squabbles, the sound of the wind as I ride my bike, the feel of a hug from someone I care for, the sound of joy as sung by a child, the sound of my heart as it beats to a distant drum. These are some of the ten thousand things...
